What size of pot should you choose for an exceptional arrangement?

Choosing the right pot size sets the foundation for a harmonious and lasting arrangement.
The container can also add style to the planting. Beyond its use, Poterie Ravel designs its models with garden architecture in mind.
For a sculptural effect, opt for our large sizes (diameter 70 cm to 120 cm). These bold pieces are ideal for entrances, terraces, paths, or large gardens. They accommodate olive trees, citrus trees, boxwoods, or palms, and catch the eye at first glance.
The large sizes are available in the Camélia, Rinceaux, Jasmin, and Cycas collections. Our very large models include the Cycas pot with a height of 100 or 120 cm and the Arum vase with a diameter of 120 cm.
The medium sizes (40 to 60 cm in diameter) are suitable for all environments: urban balcony, paved courtyard, or small garden. They offer a nice balance between volume and ease of handling, perfect for lavender, rosemary, maples, molehills, or small fruit trees.
The small pots (less than 40 cm) fit on window ledges, tables, or stairs. They are ideal for aromatic herbs, flowering plants, or scented compositions.
An exceptional arrangement also relies on the play of volumes. Combine different sizes to create rhythm and depth. And consider the overall aesthetics: the color of the soil, the patina, the shape of the pot contribute to the elegance of the whole. We advise you to design your space by composing groups of small, medium, and large pots.
