COLLECTIONS

Discover the Cactus Pot, a hand-crafted terracotta pot made in the workshops of Poterie Ravel in Aubagne, where Provençal tradition has enhanced each piece since 1837. Its simple, slightly rounded silhouette without a collar gives it modernity and elegance, ideal for enhancing your gardens, balconies, or contemporary interiors.

Available in three heights (35 cm, 47 cm, 57 cm) and offered in classic natural terracotta or white clay, this pot comes in styles and sizes to suit your taste and needs. Strong and durable, it has excellent resistance to frost and UV rays — a testament to longevity born from a craft passed down through six generations.

The Cactus Pot combines delicacy and strength: compact at 35 cm, it also makes a statement in the 57 cm version, offering a capacity of up to 80 L—perfect for planting succulents, small shrubs, or aromatic herbs while adding character to your outdoor spaces.

Each piece bears the signature of artisanal work, marked by subtle nuances and unique shapes. The Cactus Pot is the perfect blend of simple design, artisanal authenticity, and rustic functionality — for a garden that reflects who you are.

PLANTING
& MAINTENANCE

- Wet the pot thoroughly
- Fill the bottom of the pot with gravel or clay pebbles (1/3 of the height)
- Spread a rot-proof fabric over this layer
- Add soil and plant

Our advice for outdoor planting:
- Raise your pot slightly to allow water to drain properly
- Remove the saucer in winter

Drainage allows water to flow away, which greatly reduces the risk of frost for both the plant and the pot.

For a conical pot, choose a vase with a height of 1/3 for the pot, 2/3 for the plant. For the diameter, take at least 2 cm more than the initial container.

This phenomenon is usually the result of a pot that is not or no longer suitable for the plant because the roots are developing too much. Be sure to check if your plant is fast-growing, in which case, consider getting a larger pot.

For indoor vases, of course. There's a saucer for every size. We'll suggest one after you've chosen your vase in our online store or by the sales team.

Our saucers are waterproof. However, indoors, especially on wooden floors, we recommend using felt pads. Saucers rarely age well because they collect standing water. They need to be cleaned or replaced frequently.

We advise against outdoor saucers whenever possible. They're a breeding ground for mosquitoes and should be removed in winter.

To avoid leaving round marks on your patios, we recommend terracotta pot stands, or, for a more invisible effect, pieces of tile or wood to raise the vase.

Our unglazed terracotta pottery all have good frost resistance, provided that certain rules are followed:
• Ensure proper drainage from the start by following our planting advice
• Do not leave the saucer under the pot in winter Bring glazed vases indoors. If you are in a region exposed to cold, we advise you to bring your pots indoors or cover them with wintering veils.

Glazed vases are susceptible to frost.
