Household linenRavel

In 1910, when he married Rose Decroix, daughter of the pottery’s founder, Philogène Ravel set up his weaving business, which originated in 1865, on the same premises as the ceramics workshops. The company made boat sails, espadrille canvas, tarpaulins for trucks and more.

Their great-granddaughters Julie and Marion Ravel, who now run Poterie Ravel, decided to relaunch the Philogène Ravel brand, making French fabrics since 1865.

A business that has returned to its original boutique.

The stunning Philogène Ravel boutique is now located at the Poterie Ravel premises in Aubagne, the original site of the weaving business.

The shop sells beautiful linen articles, just like family heirlooms, simple yet refined, in dense yet subtle colours. There are tablecloths and table runners, bedspreads and throws, beach towels, tea towels, aprons and more. There is also a wide selection of fabrics by the metre (linen, cotton, jute, etc.) at affordable prices. Also available online!
