Christian Lacroix experimented with different finishes and techniques, including matt and glossy enamel, incisions and layers, engobes, brushes and pipettes. He improvised and worked instinctively to rediscover traditional techniques and create his own cosmogony, a world of Mediterranean mythology that he cherishes, where the sun sets over the heroes and heroines of the Midi, while the moon glows alongside a host of benevolent stars.
