Our pots come in three natural clay colours:
- The original Poterie Ravel pale terracotta – timeless.
White, with a little sand, which makes the clay very solid and slightly grainy – good for dark ground surfaces or Mediterranean styles.
Mocha – between taupe and dark chocolate, for a classic chic style.

Poterie Ravel has been making its own clay at its Aubagne workshops since 1837. The firm’s production is fully vertical, which is rare these days: every step of the process is carried out in-house, from its clay pit at St Zacharie to the finished products. When you visit our workshops, you will see the famous pile of clay, where it all begins.

Provence clay is famous for its pale ochre colour. This is the traditional colour of Poterie Ravel’s products. This unique terracotta colour has become a hallmark of the brand.

The colour works well in any type of garden. It complements plants and blends in with its natural surroundings.

Poterie Ravel also keeps up with the times and has brought out other natural clay colours: white and mocha.
Together, these three shades satisfy all decorative needs.
White terracotta looks beautiful in patios or urban gardens with dark surfaces, and by the sea. It is coarser and grainier than the two other terracottas.
Mocha terracotta has a Nordic style for a touch of modernity, while original natural terracotta has a timeless quality that will never go out of fashion.

Whether you choose original, white or mocha terracotta, all our pots have excellent frost-resistance as long as you follow our instructions for use.
